Experience in step down level patients is a must, understanding charting and interventions related to high reliability care.Support team efforts for continuous improvement.Can identify early signs of a change in patient condition.Minimum ADN required.4 years of experience.Schedule Information
Shift: Nights, 1845-0715.Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.Alternating weekend hours (6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule).No on-call requirements.Unit Specific Information
Specialty: Intermediate Medical Care Unit (step down from MICU).Number of Openings: 2.Float Requirements: Will float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level.Equipment used: bipap, chest tubes, high flow O2, trachs.EHR: Cerner.Supervisor: Director of IMCU/MICU.Common Diagnosis/Treatment: sepsis, severe chronic pulmonary issues, complex diagnoses.Additional Details
No holidays off first contract.Willingness to preceptor.CRRT is a plus.Excellent attendance required.
