Position / Specialty: OR CST. The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consist of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologist. RN’s are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC. Job Requirements
Years of experience REQ: 2 years. First-timers accepted: Yes. Trauma Level REQ: Level 1 trauma. Open to accommodating block schedule: up to manager discretion. Local Radius: 60 miles. Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at reduced bill rate. RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval based on facility’s needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off one shift every 2 weeks. Schedule Information
Shift: 3x12s, 630a-7p, weekend days. Saturday/Sunday, and one day through the week. Holidays: Traveler required to work at least one of the holiday periods. Is on-call REQ: No. Unit Specific Information
