Seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to lead embedded firmware and IoT development efforts. In this role, you will be hands-on, taking responsibility for all aspects of the firmware development process including architecting, coding, debugging as well as building and managing a team. Responsibilities
Architect, code, and debug embedded firmware and IoT solutions.
Build and manage a development team.
Configure and manage microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4, STM32, and NXP LPC82x Series.
Develop and configure boot loaders and software interfaces.
Work with embedded systems and microcontroller peripherals including I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, and DAC.
Resolve issues using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Implement networking connectivity protocols like TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, MQTT, and AMQP.
Ensure robust and efficient firmware for LED lighting and IoT applications.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Experience in embedded system design and development.
Familiarity with ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4, STM32, and NXP LPC82x Series ARM microcontrollers.
Ability to configure boot loaders and software interfaces.
Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller peripherals including I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, and DAC.
Experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Familiarity with networking connectivity protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, MQTT, and AMQP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Zigbee, BLE Mesh, LoRaWAN, WiFi.
Work Environment
The work environment includes working with cutting-edge technologies and equipment in the LED lighting and IoT space. The role may involve standard office hours with occasional requirements for extended hours to meet project deadlines. The dress code is business casual.
