Job Description:
At Regions, the Agile Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, consulting, and managing complex enterprise level Agile projects and programs. This role will communicate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate and facilitate all project activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages software, systems, and business projects
Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery
Performs delivery planning and managing project risks for assigned projects and teams
Prepares project documentation as required including plans, stories, burn ups, burn downs, release plans, postmortem and other documents as needed
Aids in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members
Supports the Product Owner in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
Defines and manages a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
Promotes empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
Collaborates with resource management to ensure proper governance of project efforts
Mentors other associates in developing/honing business knowledge, analytical skills, and project management skills
Relies on experience and judgement to perform job duties without supervision or direction
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
Seven (7) years of project management related experience
Preferences
Experience working as Scrum Master
Experience managing agile software development projects
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Skills and Competencies
Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously
Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines
Familiarity with the Kanban approach, utilizing Jira and Confluence toolsets
Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques in professional corporate settings
Strong written / verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
