Strategic Sourcing Contract Manager

Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to support operations of the Strategic Sourcing organization, with concentration on Contract Management. Role will work closely with Lowe's Strategic Sourcing organization and Lowe’s Legal team to ensure processes, systems and policies are clearly defined and executed. A key component of the role includes leading continuous improvement activities across all activities and processes within Strategic Sourcing, building relationships with the business and support teams, and supporting key initiatives to deliver on business goals. The Strategic Sourcing Process & Contract Manager will be a subject matter expert on all policies relating to contracts with indirect spend vendors – contract review requirements, spend thresholds, etc.
What you will do
Guides team in proper contract management execution and adherence to policies and procedures
Creates and maintains documentation, training, and other resources to enhance execution of processes
Provides training and coaching to team to ensure adherence to policy and procedures, and representation of Lowe’s best interest
Performs as subject matter expert for contract management process, policy and system
Performs as System Admin for sourcing systems, ensuring accurate and well-maintained internal documents
Provides advice and guidance to the different teams relating to sourcing and contract generation
Conducts compliance audits to reinforce adherence to process expectations and established policies
Provides support on contract type/template selection, policy adherence, drafting assistance and other tasks related to contacting
Identifies opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement changes
Builds and maintains customer relationships with Enterprise Strategic Sourcing, Legal and other functional areas, and acts as a liaison with legal partners
Leads process design/improvement workshops
Leads cross functional group to drive information gathering from the business, scope development, and contract negotiation skills critical to successful completion of the project
Supports complex sourcing projects leveraging project management and sourcing tools
Presents information and materials to stakeholders, evaluating pros/cons of suppliers across multiple award scenarios to influence and drive decision making
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
5-7 Years Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance or similar work with an emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting
1 Year Cross functional team leadership
Knowledge and experience with E-Sourcing tools and processes
Project management skills
Contracting and vendor management experience
Negotiation experience
Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field MBA, JD, MS, ME
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Project Management
Building RFP, SOW, and Contracting
Direct Negotiations
Vendor Management
