We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager, Affiliate Marketing to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing affiliate programs, specifically within the direct-to-consumer market. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the affiliate marketing ecosystem. The ideal candidate is inquisitive, proactive, data-driven, and a critical thinker who continuously seeks innovative and effective advertising capabilities to enhance engagement and drive incremental ROI throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the strategy, as well as lead the tactical execution and management of our affiliate marketing program, aligning with social media, search, agency, and DTC teams.
Deliver powerful performance-driven campaigns across multiple affiliate platforms and partnerships, adhering to overarching marketing / business strategy, and against measurable KPIs.
Own and manage daily / weekly / monthly affiliate performance reporting to monitor and report on channel performance, adjusting strategies to achieve business goals and future strategic growth
Collaborate with martech and analytics teams to ensure precise and streamlined tracking of user attribution throughout the entire purchase funnel.
Collaborate with Brand Management, DTC and Creative Design teams to build customer-facing messaging that aligns to the brand’s positioning and priorities.
Maintain affiliate budget inclusive of commissions, placement fees, ROAS/ROI and bonuses while making recommendations based on performance expectations.
Methodically test to learn and identify best performing promotions and messages across different seasons and product categories in the affiliate space.
Research and stay on top of trends in the affiliate and commerce space, continuously monitoring and communicating current marketing trends, new technology features, and competitive strategies. Establish and track KPIs – use actionable insights to help educate and inform cross-functional partners on expectations and performance.
Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliates and partners to expand our network
Foster and maintain robust relationships with existing affiliates, providing them with the necessary tools and support to maximize their performance
Leverage both internal and external teams to develop data-driven optimization opportunities; build business cases for support with defined expectations.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
• 4-year college degree
5+ years of DTC experience driving user acquisition.
Experience executing and managing paid campaigns on social and DSP platforms as well as effectively managing agencies.
In-depth knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms and tools
Working knowledge of digital marketing KPIs and ability to optimize based on relevant performance and brand priorities.
Experience tracking and managing paid media budgets.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business, influential amongst peers to drive change
Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and workstreams while effectively managing changing priorities.
Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
