Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Data Scientist Advisor at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients’ big-data obstacles and help advance the mission.
HOW A DATA SCIENTIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Use statistical and programming languages (Python) to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges.
Use AI/ML expertise to recommend solutions to mission challenges.
Develop compelling briefings, proposal materials, and reusable artifacts for use by our customers, both internal and external.
Support development of proposal technical volumes and orals presentations
Review proposals and provide feedback needed to strengthen our solution.
Plan and help execute prototyping and technical implementation efforts.
Professionally consult with external clients and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivilent combination of experience.
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Data Science and Cloud Services
● Required Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in data science and data wrangling best practices, tools, and techniques.
Expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI.
Expertise with Cloud Services AI and Data Services
Experience with data integration, data migration, analysis and visualization.
Experience with cloud-native data analytic solution architectures.
Experience in client relationship management & requirements gathering, and an ability to translate technical requirements for client and internal stakeholders.

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
