Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Interventional Radiology Technologist License: ARRT License, ISDH Tech License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Proficiency in performing all routine IR-Radiology procedures Job Description: - Work during weekdays with an on-call weekend rotation alongside 5 co-workers - Float to the Hybrid IR suite located in the Surgery department as needed - Work in a unit with 225 beds and a day shift team of 5 technologists covering 2 IR suites and a surgery-based Hybrid suite - Utilize advanced equipment including Siemens Artis Zee, Philips FD20, Philips Epiq 5 US, Sonosite US, Philips RN-Patient monitors - Maintain records using the EPIC electronic medical record system - Engage effectively with a diverse patient group including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients - Fit within a team-oriented work environment, flexible to adjust to various shifts in case of staffing needs - Wear light blue surgery scrubs provided by the facility through an onsite Scrub-X vending machine Candidates should be motivated and capable of conducting imaging exams efficiently, ensuring high-quality patient care.
