Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Logistics Quality - North America in El Paso, TX.
Job Description: Define the CS&Q logistic strategy according to the analysis of VOC, and GSC industrial project roadmaps. Develop the people competence in continuous improvement tools and digital knowledge. Lead regional logistics community team to collaborate with each other and share best practices, initiate innovation, and standardize processes. Deploy global programs, including Quality Basics and Quality Fundamentals in all the DCs. Handle customer escalations and close the loop with customer. Drive continuous improvement projects in all the entities as per customer feedback and keep the DCR and NSS-Get Delivered at a benchmark level. Review performance and coach underperforming groups. This position does not manage direct reports.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in quality engineering, warehouse operations management, or related occupation in a manufacturing plant environment, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: 8D problem solving methodology; Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA); Lean Manufacturing techniques (Value Stream Mapping, developing work instructions, Poke Yoke, Jidoka); Root cause analysis, including failure mode and effects analysis; Quality management; QT9 administration and implementation of new modules, including follow-up on QT9 corrective actions; Performing ISO audits and assuring compliance to internal and external specifications and standards, including ISO 9001-2015; and Manufacturing Quality Expertise & Containment Management. Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification also required.
