DescriptionPosition Purpose
As a LONG Administrative Assistant II, you will perform critical administrative and clerical tasks that support the different Business Units within LONG Building Technologies’ Portland office. You will become a senior member of the team that handles an advanced, varied, and dynamic administrative workload while providing guidance to Administrative Assistants with less experience.

Answer incoming phone calls and accurately route calls using professional and pleasant phone etiquetteServe as first point of contact to visitorsProcess outgoing mail, FedEx, and internal mail on a daily basisPerform a variety of filing and scanningFacilitate communication and logistics pertaining to equipment shipping and bidsAssist various business units with administrative workload overflow as requiredAssist/guide new Administrative Assistants on day-to-day functionsAssist in the preparation, setup, and takedown of various eventsManage insurance certificates for various business unit divisions located in the state of PortlandOrder office suppliesOther duties as assignedQualifications
High School diploma or equivalent 3 years of office experienceHigh degree of familiarity with LONG’s internal corporate structure and administrative dutiesExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelGood written and verbal communication with all levels of the organizationStrong customer service skills with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlinePreferred Qualifications
