IR/CATH LAB TECH - 40 HRS DAY M-F. Must Start date: 12/2 for the higher rate. Special Procedures: Scrub for IR, vascular, and pain procedures. They need to be able to work the Philips azurion C arm and the portable C arm. Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care. Magnet Certified.Job Requirements
Must have MD license, RT-R ARRT. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.Skill Required: Interventional Radiology, PACS, Angioplasty, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Catheter/drain exchange, Internal/external biliary drainage, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Siemens, Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Scrub- maintain sterile field, GE/Philips azurion C-arm/portable C arm /contrast, cerner.Skills Preferred: Computed tomography, Ultrasound, IV starts.Schedule Information
Days 7-1530 PM//40 hours weekly. On Call: Call every other week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1530-2200 and Saturday 0800-1600. Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday.Additional Details
