We are seeking to hire a skilled Operations Manager who can instruct, coach, and manage a staff of plumbers and sales associates as they install water heaters and plumbing fixtures. This Operations Manager will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your plumbing team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales and customer service targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your team.
Requirements
Ensure tasks being completed accurately and in a timely manner by field and operational personnelManage workflow by monitoring plumbers to make sure all jobs are complete with accurate paperwork and positive customer serviceProvide estimations for tankless water heater installations and non-standard plumbing jobs as neededCommunicate proactively with management oftenMaintain positive associate moralePerform general clerical duties (e.g., copying, faxing, mail distribution, filing, etc.)Answer phones and resolve customer conflicts when neededAttend conference calls and update management on status of key processesAbility to coach plumbers and associates in need of job improvement and document if neededPerform all other related duties as assignedAll job offers are contingent on the successful completion of a stringent background check prior to employmentCore Competencies:
A background or license in plumbingAbility to successfully lead a team of plumbers and sales associatesGood analytical, written and verbal skillsProficient in MS OfficeStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills requiredAble to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environmentAble to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude alwaysAttendance and punctuality is extremely important to lead the team by exampleBenefits
