ANTICIPATED OPENING
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must meet the following criteria: (a) Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education; (b) obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or (c) met a rigorous standard of quality through a formal State assessment.
2. Minimum experience as determined by the Board.
3. Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff.
4. Knowledge of diverse needs of children with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices.
5. Passing score on the assessment for Crisis Management Training when required for student assignment.
6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
7. Experience working with students with Autism preferred.
8. Knowledge/Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.
