REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience required, will accept 2yrs min depending on trauma experience.Traveler Experience: Unit REQUIRES Travel Experience, They WILL NOT Accept 1st Time TravelersLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesSkills: Work Setting Experience: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU. General Skills Experience Required: IV Starts, PACS, Contrast. CT Procedure Experience Required: Abdomen, Pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, Musculoskeletal, CTAs.Certs: BLS and ARRT. Must hold a CT registration specifically if ARRT certified.
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Outpatient, Level I Trauma and NICU. Biopsies. Brain perfusion and Multiplanar Reconstruction.
JOB DETAILS:Approximately 200 exams daily; Rooms: 4*36 Hours can be offeredUnit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays! Must be available for at least one holiday.Shift: 3 x 12 Hour MIDS Thurs,Fri, SatCALL Requirement: NoneFLOAT Requirement: NONE.WEEKEND SHIFT: Thurs, Fri, Sat
**Travelers MUST bring their own Dosimter to this assignment. Any brand will do, unit uses Landaur Brand Dosimeters.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
All ages and groups from walking patients to the most acute in an 80 plus bed, very busy ED. Routine CT exams.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Equipment/Scanner Experience Required: Siemens.
UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC, Visage PACS
SCHEDULING TYPE: Supervisor makes schedule, per Unit Needs.
UNIT ORIENTATION: At the CT Supervisor’s discretion.
SCRUBS: Royal Blue.
