Job Description
The General Practitioner Physician works as a part of the medical team. They are responsible for initiating resuscitation and stabilisation of patients as well as commencing investigations and interventions to diagnose and treat illnesses, whilst working as a multi-disciplined team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out evaluation of patients that are brought in for evaluation
Liaise with other medical staff to ensure continuity of care
Perform medical examinations to establish health status baseline.
Examine patients for illness and injury.
Order, perform, interpret test results and analyze records and reports.
Ability to provide follow-up care for patients as needed.
Collect, record, and maintain patient health information.
Ensures that all medical records are accurately maintained.
Referral recommendations for patients to medical specialists when required.
Coordinate healthcare plan
Provision of clinical reporting into International SOS Facility Medical Director
Ensure best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs
Support the clinical excellence framework under direction from the Facility Medical Director
Provide liaison with external agencies where required to promote chain of care continuity and professional referral/patient handover.
Qualifications:Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy with a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience and licenced to practice in area of work
MD/DO Board eligible or certified
BCLS and ACLS Certificate

Compensation | Base rate is $750 per day+ additional money per exam $1576 (10 patients) $1989 (15 patients)
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
