We have an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join our Finance team in Bryn Mawr, PA!

The Treasury Analyst reports on the company's operations related to cash flow, including servicing multiple states with diverse short and long-term funding requirements. Oversee and ensure that all operational controls, policies and procedures are followed to properly record all cashbook entries, authorize payments and disbursements of funds. Coordinate PA state revolving fund (Pennvest) program for loan request submissions as well as audits. Manage short term revolving credit borrowings for Essential Utilities, Aqua PA, and PNG Companies.Essential Duties:Produce daily cash worksheets and reporting packages for accounting and other key, internal stakeholders using SAP ERP.Resolve exception items and work with accounting group to resolve any questions regarding transactions.Manage all daily cash receipts, disbursements, and cash positions to support short-term investment decisions or borrowing needs.Execute wire and ACH transactions in Pinacle (PNC).Analyze monthly bank account analysis invoices and prepares check request. Adjust any pricing discrepancies. Regularly interacts and resolves issues with bank representatives.Payment of all interest, principal, fees and expenses related to corporate finance activity.Must ensure that all daily individual cash transactions for each legal entity are properly accounted for in the various loan accounts.Assist in the preparation of the interest expense budgets for Aqua and all subsidiary entities.Interface with departmental executives to coordinate changes needed to carry out the operating plan and establish all forecasts.Back-up for all treasury management and cash forecasting functions.Administer opening/closing of corporate bank accounts.Participate in SOX compliance protocols.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or AccountingOne year of finance and/or accounting preferredKnowledge, skills, and abilities:Computer / Software experience / requirementsMS Office including Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced required) and PowerPointExperience with FIS Integrity, Pinacle, Hyperion software and Lawson General Ledger, or SAP a plusExcellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with internal customersAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills; takes initiative to research issues and present alternatives for resolutionEssential Utilities, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
