Exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals responsible for servicing and maintaining relationships with Bessemer’s ultra-high net worth clients. This individual is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships through proactive client communication and the coordinated delivery of services to individuals, families, trusts and foundations. The Client Advisor will also act as a liaison between the Senior Client Advisors and all other service areas of the organization. This is a great way to learn relationship management in a multifamily office with opportunities for career growth.
Primary Responsibilities: Client Service: Provide outstanding client service. This includes regular communication with clients and their advisors. Oversee the preparation of client meeting materials, attend client meetings, document issues discussed, document client information in Salesforce, and coordinate follow-up. Investment Management: Assist the Senior Client Advisor in Investment management activities including implementing investment objectives, rebalancing accounts, executing trades, monitoring asset allocation/ investment performance and overseeing investment transition. Monitor daily internal reports and work with account team to resolve any issues such as overdrafts. Coordinate client requests for funds including regular disbursements. Prepare asset allocation simulation modeling. Trust Administration: Prepare initial and annual trust reviews and requests for all discretionary distributions from trusts and for all special investments in trust. Make required distributions from trusts and foundations Coordinate annual unitrust payments, private foundation grant payments, reporting gifts to, and use of GST exemption on gift tax returns for, irrevocable trusts with the assistance of the tax department Process gifts to charity and family. Prepare reports to Trust Builder for irrevocable insurance trusts (ILITs), make transfers to ILITs as required and pay life insurance premiums. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred. Six or more years of related business experience. Series 7, Series 63 license desired with two years of Cannon Trust School or equivalent. CTFA, CFP or CFA preferred. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork qualities. Ability to organize, complete multiple tasks within deadlines and complete accuracy.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00- $160,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (k) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability coverage and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
Securities licenses will not generally be obtained or maintained unless deemed by Bessemer Trust to be required in order for you to perform the responsibilities of this position.
