Seeking a Family Medicine Core Faculty member with obstetrics experience to join our passionate team in La Crosse, WI. Must have a strong interest in teaching. We are looking to fill this position in the spring/summer of 2024.
Practice Highlights :Precept on average 4-5

days per week in the Family Medicine Residency ClinicSee patients in clinic 2-3

days per week.1

day per week of administration time for academic reasons. 1 day per week out of clinic, unless on call/deliveringParticipate in mentoring, didactic, educational activities such as simulation, procedural workshops and other educational activities as deemed necessaryParticipate in academic interests such as research as deemed necessary by the PDParticipate in regular faculty meetings on a weekly basis in the FMRCParticipate in the CCC (Clinical Competency Committee - evaluating our residents) and PEC (Program Evaluation Committee - evaluating our program) meetings for the residencyMinimal call (approximately on call for phone triage 6 weeks per year)Preference for inpatient newborn care and postpartum care for patientsPrior teaching experience and faculty development training would be a plus
