LCSEA is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year.
Duties Include
Assist in the implementation of the students' IEP's Prepare adapted classroom material as directed by the teacher Implement instructional activities as directed by the teacher Encourage and model appropriate behavior Assist in the implementation of students' behavior management and healthcare programs within the classroom Maintain confidentially about students and their programs Adhere to universal health procedures Perform clerical and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
60 hours post-secondary work or a passing score on the paraprofessional test with a high-school diploma or GED Good communication skills Good organizational skills Interest and ability in working with students and teachers Good classroom discipline Ability to work with others as well as independently Ability to multi-task Good character
