Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The Product Owner will be responsible for modernizing Truists Teammate Platform Experience across multiple key client-facing channels. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Salesforce product and delivery teams, key business stakeholders, and other platforms that may integrate capabilities in support of broader Consumer Transformation efforts. The Product owner will be part of Consumer and Small Business banking team accountable for delivering a modern Salesforce experience for our clients and teammates. The position requires the ability to translate strategic priorities into tactical execution, while managing and engaging with downstream dependent teams. This role will aid in business case development, user-centered design studies, and end-to-end solution validations. The ideal candidate for this role has meaningful Salesforce experience (salesforce certification is a plus) and can deliver and measure business value through platform experiences. The Product Owner will work with Product Mangers to convert the high-level vision into agile features and stories which inform the prioritized technology backlog. This position must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, and working with delivery teams for development). The Product Manager will work with Product Owners to convert the high-level vision into agile epics and features which inform the prioritized technology backlog. This position must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, and working with delivery teams for development). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills & the creation and delivery of succinct executive-level presentations to explain and sell plans/vision Analyze the market and competitive environment to define a differentiated product vision that delivers unique value. Translate analyses into sound recommendations based on data and experience. Set Planning Increment (PI) vision, priority and definition, partnering with product owners on feature prioritization, delivery timelines, and backlog roadmap. Collaborate with a wide variety of partners to align on strategy and develop a delivery roadmap that supports business goals. Write epics and features in support of the defined roadmap, working with partners to prioritize across teams. Viewed as SME by technology and business partners to define efforts, assist with requirements and assisting in overall project management, risk management and organizational readiness activities Obtain partner alignment and approvals including legal, compliance, security, fraud and others as needed Provide direction to product owners on the Implementation plan, monitor execution and provide support and guidance as necessary. Update business channel leadership on the Epic and Feature delivery schedule including dependencies impacting deliverables, along with recommended solutions. Create and track product metrics to inform strategy and roadmap, sharing analysis with partners QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Meaningful experience with Salesforce product, ideally within a Financial Services organization 5 years of relevant financial services or consulting firm experience, working on teams with responsibility for strategic planning, product management, and industry analysis Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation Articulate, persuasive, and comfortable interacting with all levels of people 5. Experience with processes and tools supporting Agile methodologies; 5 years desired Comfort managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical daily actions for execution Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions Expertise in partnering with multiple groups (IT, Marketing) to define and execute on a road-map. Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing and/or implementing Salesforce solutions Experience translating a business vision into written user stories Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Manager/Owner Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong business knowledge and technical acumen with a strong understanding of product management Salesforce certified is a plus OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Standing Frequently (25% - 50% of the time) Walking Frequently (25% - 50% of the time) Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
