This a full-time, salaried position based out of our Scripps Corporate office in La Jolla. Must be available to work a day shift of 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional evening and night shifts as needed. Must be available to work weekends and travel to other Scripps locations systemwide as needed. Must be knowledgeable in HVAC systems and building automation system programming. The ideal candidate for the Engineering Application Analyst position will have experience working in a hospital setting as well as the knowledge and understanding of programming a building automation system. This individual will support the system by collaborating with IS to implement and maintain the new facility programs going on in the network. Professional experience implementing a program through an outlined intake process successfully is preferred. The Application Analyst - Engineering under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. Designs, builds and tests system configuration. Translates business requirements into technical solutions. Conducts quality reviews of system builds. May maintain databases and create user reports. LI-KL1 Qualifications Required Qualifications: Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational and project management skills. Business acumen in functional area Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in relevant area. Has led small projects or technical activities. 3 years experience programming a building automation system. Experience working in a hospital setting. Has a building automation system certification. Has experience implementing a new program through an intake process.
