Job Description We are looking for Staff Software Developers to join our growing Fortinet CNAPP (formerly Lacework) Product Platform team. The team is responsible for components and solutions for data access, APIs and website backend services, reporting and notifications infrastructure, and integration with internal and external enterprise information processing systems. Responsibilities : Designing, implementing, and evolving scalable software components for cloud-native products, ensuring performance and reliability. Troubleshooting, resolving issues in production environments, contributing to continuous product improvement. Collaborating effectively with DevOps, QA, Technical support, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment. Delivering high-quality software rapidly, with ever increasing design standards, availability and observability. Analyzing, prioritizing, and addressing customer-reported issues, ensuring quick resolutions. Requirements : 3 years of software development experience for cloud-based products Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting of distributed systems Additional advantageous experience: Familiarity with popular cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Close Familiarity with Java and Python programming languages Experience with relational databases such as mysql/postgres. Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of the Linux operating system. Knowledge of networking and network security preferred. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Educational Requirements: - Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$215,000. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
