Software Developer (Football Operations)

POSITION SUMMARY The Software Developer will be a member of the software development team within Football Operations. You will work with the software development team on all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance our football application suite and data warehouse. You will take part in working on cutting edge data and video applications used by an NFL front office. The individual's responsibilities may grow depending on skill sets, product quality, efficiency and demonstrated initiative. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS This role will report to the Vice President of Software Innovation and Lead Software Innovator. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with software coding that may include on screen forms and reports, middle tier objects, or ETL processes. Assist with creation of Database Tables, Queries, Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions to support on-screen functionality, custom requested reports, or data validation. Adhere to coding standards and naming conventions. Unit Test code before handing off for testing. Assist with testing of code written by other members of the Development Team. Provide technical support to the football staff on the usage of applications or reports. QUALIFICATIONS 0 - 4 years' work experience Available to work full time in the Philadelphia office Basic understanding and interest in professional football Experience writing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server is required (professional or internship experience is preferred) Experience with full stack development using C# in Visual Studio is required (professional or internship experience is preferred) Understanding of relational database design Understanding of multi-tier software application architecture Any of the following are a plus: Experience managing SQL Server databases Experience creating WinForms applications Experience with Infragistics controls Designing and creating reports using Active Reports EOE Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other classification protected by applicable law.
