Genesis10 is seeking a Data Engineer for our client in the Financial Services Industry. This is a Contract opportunity located in Irving, TX, TX 75063 which can be worked remotely Rate $65.00 - $75.00ph DOE W2 Status: Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position. No 3rd Parties, No Sponsorship available for this position Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directly or through others, the incumbent will: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Apache Airflow Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading Collaborate with data modelers to implement and maintain data models in Snowflake Write and maintain DBT models for data transformation and business logic implementation Work with management and infrastructure teams as an influencer for in decision of using open source or cloud managed services for DBT and Airflow Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle Implement data security and access control measures in Snowflake Optimize query performance and resource utilization in Snowflake Collaborate with other teams to integrate data systems and support analytics needs Implement data governance policies and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data warehouse and data mart architectures.
