Cybersecurity Analyst III

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review code for security vulnerabilities and collaborate with developers to remediate identified issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of secure coding practices and have experience in identifying and mitigating security risks within software applications.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough reviews of code to identify potential security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.Collaborate with software developers to provide actionable recommendations for remediation.Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding standards and best practices.Continuously monitor and assess security risks within the codebase.Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the highest level of code security.Participate in security assessments, code audits, and penetration testing as needed.Provide training and guidance to developers on secure coding practices and security awareness.Document security findings and remediation efforts for future reference and compliance purposes.Must Haves:Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline and typically 5 or more years of relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationMinimum 5 years of increasing levels of experience directly related to the development or analysis of codeDemonstrated experience with DAST, SAST, and source code analysis toolsStrong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express concepts in verbal and written formsTeam oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionThe ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.Preferred:Advanced degree in CybersecurityBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense (Civilian), the US Intelligence Community, NASA/Civil or commercial space and/or US Military, with an understanding of defense, aerospace, intelligence, and adjacent marketsProfessional cybersecurity certifications such as CASE, GWEB, or other recognized certificationsSNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
