Strata-G is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Manager/Oracle ERP:
Summary:
Information Technology (IT) Project Manager specializing in Oracle ERP implementations and project management.
Requirements:
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK:
Lead the expansion of Business Services Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Systems Implementation for the Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, and Learning Management business areas.
Assess current business processes, systems, and data architecture while considering business processes and procedures, and technology security and compliance.
Provide project management leadership by establishing strong relationships with multiple business disciplines and technology groups, listening to concerns from the workforce and creating trust.
Develop a phased-approach road map for significant implementation projects while maintaining an ongoing maintenance backlog.
Ensure the architecture supports security, scalability, and maintainability.
Provide an enthusiastic and positive attitude to help the organization navigate the adoption of new solutions at a pace that allows the workforce to execute their work effectively while learning new systems.
Participate in the preparation of requests for proposals, statements of work, develop project estimates, work plans, staffing plans, and advise on implementation strategy.
Assist in finalizing the request for proposal for the Fusion implementation partner selection.
Lead during the Implementation Partner selection process to help identify selection criteria.
Manage an Information Technology ERP team and ensure project requirements are appropriately documented and tested to allow timely, high-quality delivery.
Develop detailed project plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manage the agreed project plans and schedules.
Estimate and identify the internal resources needed to achieve ERP implementation success and ongoing support goals.
Work directly with the disciplines to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and provide timely status reports.
Identify and escalate critical implementation issues where expertise and management influence may be required.
Manage and minimize customization requests to support best practices of implementing standard ERP package software processes.
Provide performance feedback to project team members. Coach, mentor, and lead project team members, educating each in the methodology being used and their role in achieving success.
Collaborate with the implementation partner project manager to ensure task completion.
3.0 TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have proven experience collaborating with a consulting team; have a successful track record of managing large, complex projects; the ability to work effectively in a time-critical environment; proven leadership skills; experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issues management; experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting; and excellent communication skills.
Must have 10+ years of IT project management experience including the following:
2+ years of large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP implementation project management (SaaS / Fusion) experience
3+ years of Oracle (EBS) Application experience
5+ years of business analyst experience
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or IT-related field and 15+ years of experience in IT;
or
Associate’s degree or technical diploma/degree in Information Technology and 19+ years of relevant experience in IT;
or
23+ years of Enterprise level IT experience in an administration, support, and/or oversight capacity.
