Full State Employee BenefitsThe principal purpose of this position is mainframe integration and interface management which includes maintaining the critical integrations and reporting between our eligibility systems and the third-party payment provider. This role ensures that data flows smoothly between systems, supports accurate and timely payments, and addresses any issues that arise to maintain system integrity and service delivery. The objective is to facilitate seamless operations and ensure accurate reporting and compliance across platforms.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in an OKDHS program division or in a technology environment.OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.This position requires Mainframe technical knowledge and experience in analyzing legacy software including IMS/DB2 Cobol and IBM JCL which is how all of the processes are currently built and maintained.This position will need to be on call in off hours for instances related to outages and system failures.Job Responsibilities
Resolve integration and interface issues between the eligibility systems and the third-party payment provider.Troubleshoot data discrepancies, managing system downtime, and ensuring consistent data flows.Coordinate with multiple teams to quickly address outage issues and minimize service disruption.Reconfigure the integration architecture or create workarounds to ensure payments continue without errors when there are system upgrades, changes in eligibility requirements, or unexpected technical failures.Long-term challenges include staying ahead of evolving technology, maintaining system compatibility as new platforms or regulations are introduced, and ensuring the system can scale with growing demand.If you have questions, please contact DHS.Careers@okdhs.orgOKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.This is a position in the Oklahoma Civil Service.Announcement Number: 24-BC31583000783/JR39343
