Manager, Sales

based in our Miami, Florida office.This person is responsible for being an experienced sales minded, results driven individual who can develop and secure corporate sponsorships and large-scale hospitality programs with companies across NASCAR Southeast properties (Talladega Superspeedway, Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway).Duties include but are not limited to:Collaborate with the VP of Sales on priorities, approach to the market and daily prospecting effortsThis sales executive will continually be prospecting for future revenue opportunities and must be highly motivated, goal oriented, and contribute to the overall success of the Southeast sales team.The Sales Manager will work from Daytona International Speedway and is responsible primarily for generating new revenue, while also renewing and upselling existing Daytona International Speedway and other accounts.This role will involve a high volume of cold calling, prospecting, meeting with and building relationships with clients.The candidate for this role must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ability to establish relationships with senior level executives.Responsible for establishing new marketing/hospitality partnerships to achieve annual revenue goalsAcquire new clients, grow revenue from existing clients, and strengthen customer relationshipsProspect and secure sales meetings through existing relationships as well as cold calling locally, regionally, and nationallyMeet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly corporate revenue and prospecting goalsResearch and identify industries and organizations to pitch sponsorship/hospitality opportunities while also tracking local, regional, and national trends/emerging marketsMaintain high level of customer service to existing and new corporate clientsRegularly attend networking & community events to build professional network and identify/develop sales opportunities for HMSWork in coordination with Client Services team to ensure proper execution of partner assets and maintain strong relationshipsMaintain sales pipeline and forecast weeklyAssist in annual revenue/expense budget preparationOther duties as assigned by the VP of SalesRequired skills / experience:Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales experience (prior sports sales experience is preferred)Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Sales/Sports ManagementUnderstanding of sponsorship/hospitality sales, event marketing and activation processAbility to confidently communicate the value of sponsorship & hospitality offeringsExcellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of the applicable organizationsHighly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, results oriented, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work evenings and weekends, as requiredStrong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and CRMBilingual in Spanish/English a plus, but not a requirementStrong business relationships in Atlanta, Orlando and other Southeast markets a plus, but not a requirementApply Now!Learn more about this role and our team by applying at https://careers.nascar.com/ for consideration.NASCAR is committed to fostering a diverse work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered.
