Job Description We are looking for a Systems Analyst with a strong focus on database management systems and data migration, especially within healthcare EHR systems. This will be a full-time 8 month contract and remote (work must be performed TX). What You'll Do Oversee and manage database systems, ensuring efficient data migration, particularly within healthcare EHR systems such as Cerner Millennium Review, analyze, and evaluate user requirements, operational procedures, and identify solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality Document business process flows, standardize existing and future process flow improvements by conducting data collection and meetings with subject matter experts Prepare detailed specifications for data input/output processes Use robust analytical skills and logical problem-solving approaches to resolve complex data-related issues Produce clear project documentation and engage effectively with stakeholders using exceptional oral and written communication skills Support diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members with strong interpersonal abilities Stay updated with current IT industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization Apply architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, applications, and organizational structure What You'll Need Required: 7 years of experience with database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems, particularly those involving complex integrations like Cerner Millennium 7 years of experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting, crucial for the efficient migration of data to new SaaS platforms Skills using EXCEL, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet software 7 years of business analysis, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality Experience in documenting business process flows and standardizes existing and future process flow improvements by conducting data collection and meetings with the subject matter experts to gain full understanding of system usability and documenting Experience preparing specifications for data input/output processes Experience resolving complex data-related issues using robust analytical skills and logical problem-solving approaches Exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for producing clear project documentation and engaging effectively with stakeholders Strong interpersonal abilities to support diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization Architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, applications, and organizational structure Preferred: Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components Experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
