Appian Developer opportunity in Boston, MA this position is hybrid, candidate should be local to the Boston area and able to come onsite a few days / week We are looking for a low code developer who could learn and/or utilizing low code Appian platform with a strong background in software development, desirable in Java platform. The Appian Developer will provide a key role responsible for developing and managing software applications based on Appian framework. This position will collaborate closely with stake holders, business analyst, project manager and other developers to create applications that streamline business processes and meet customer needs. Responsibilities/Experience/Qualifications: Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy low code automation applications and solutions to automate business processes Build and configure processes, rules, user interfaces, and data integrations using a configurable low code solution Understand database and data modeling Participate in designing data model for application based on business requirements Integrate with enterprise shared services or third-party software Follow Agile practices to streamline development process and ensure flexibility and responsiveness to changes Ensure best practices, including reusability, scalability, and performance optimization Collaborate with stakeholders and business analyst to understand business requirements and translate them into a low code solution Work with project manager and other developers to coordinate the development life cycle of the application Perform unit and system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for developed applications Monitor and support deployed applications, addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed Stay up to date with the latest platform features, enhancements, and best practices Document application designs, configurations, and procedures for support and training purposes Qualifications Minimum BS/CS with 4 years of hands-on experience Strong experience in software development life cycle Background in Java platform and/or JavaScript Experience with Hibernate or other similar platforms is preferred Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Strong experience with data modeling and problem-solving skills Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, preferred with some experience in database design or modelling Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with Java, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
