University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development seeks applicants for program support and content expertise in the Department of Educational Leadership, Foundations and Policy during 2024-2025 academic year. The Department of Leadership, Foundation and Policy strives to improve educational organizations and advance knowledge with the goal of producing high quality, equitable educational experiences. Together, students, staff and faculty strive to prepare a new generation of experts in our fields who are prepared to make wise, evidence-based decisions that will improve youth settings and society. The Education Support Specialist position involves the creation and use of systems to support course and program activities. The person in this role will interact regularly with a diverse group of faculty and staff and will be expected to provide a high level of service to all department stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in education or related field is required a master's degree in education is preferred. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
