Technical Writer
to document the intricate details of our product manuals, manufacturing processes and equipment operation. This role is key in ensuring that complex procedures are communicated clearly through well-crafted process documentation and user guides.
Your Impact :
The Technical Writer will work closely with engineers, manufacturing teams, and product managers to capture detailed information about new semiconductor equipment and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will transform this information into comprehensive Product Manuals, Manufacturing Instructions, Visual Aids, Training Checklists, and Equipment Maintenance Instructions. The role requires someone with a keen eye for detail who can efficiently gather information through notes, photographs, and recordings, converting it into clear and concise written documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and maintain technical manuals targeted at internal and external customers. Such manuals include, but are not limited to product description, product use and operation, product installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, register lists, engineering utilities, programmer's hardware application program interface, custom software applications, and custom hardware addendumsCapture Technical Information : Collect verbal and written information from engineers and manufacturing/operation staff, including through photographs and recordings, and transform it into written procedures.Create Visual Aids : Develop diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to complement the written content and improve user understanding.Document Manufacturing Processes : Create detailed process documentation that clearly and efficiently communicates concepts, ideas, and instructions to support manufacturing operations.Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams : Work closely with engineering, production, and product management teams to gather technical details and verify accuracy.Requirements
What You'll Bring :
Experience creating process documentation within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industries.Required with technical writing tools (Adobe FrameMaker) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools e.g. Word & Excel creating and editing technical images and videos.Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical documents.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple documentation projects simultaneously.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.3+ years of technical writing experience in manufacturing, with a focus on process documentation.Proven ability to capture and document complex technical information through multiple media (notes, photos, recordings).Experience with technical illustrations and documentation standards is preferred.Benefits :
