This role is pivotal in the company's mission to make cancer a curable disease by focusing on the early detection of cancer through the development of novel diagnostic tests. The VP will be responsible for the overall diagnostic product development plan, ensuring that both the assay and bioinformatics pipelines are integrated to deliver a successful product. They will also serve as the technical lead on assay development activities, particularly those under design control, and must have a proven track record of successful assay development and validation in a clinical or diagnostic setting.The role requires a leader who can build, scale, and motivate teams for CLIA and FDA regulated product development, with a focus on innovative product design. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant life science field, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in product and technology development, including 10 years' directly managing assay development teams.The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulatory requirements for IVD assays, experience with molecular biology techniques, NGS workflows, and a history of working with relevant technologies. Strategic leadership, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a matrix environment and deliver results on time and on budget.
