to join our expanding Cardiology Division in Urbana, Illinois.Opportunity Details

Practice Details Include:Fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging requiredJoin a growing Cardiology team that includes 10/Non-Invasive/Heart Failure Cardiologists, 5 Interventional Cardiologists, and 3 ElectrophysiologistsSeven Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department work closely with the Cardiologists in all patient care activitiesThe division of cardiovascular medicine offers advanced diagnostic, preventive, and interventional therapies to patients with ischemic heart disease, valvular and structural heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, resistant hypertension, and other cardiovascular ailmentsCarle Cardiologists cover only Carle Foundation HospitalThe Carle Heart and Vascular Institute features collocated clinic, diagnostic and procedural space for cardiac services, and is located adjacent to Carle Foundation HospitalThe Carle HVI offers unique opportunities for academic engagement and involvement in translational and clinical research through collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineeringCarle offers an excellent benefit package including health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverageCarle Health is a not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibilityAbout the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute:The Carle Heart & Vascular Institute (Carle HVI) is an integrated organizational entity with structural and functional integration of Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.
