You will be responsible for creating and executing digital marketing content to connect with target audiences and grow the brand. You will engage with a wide variety of digital platforms, optimizing content for our website, blog, social media, email marketing, advertising and more. Along with strong writing and story-telling skills, you will stay on top of trends in digital marketing to ensure we reflect a modern, forward-thinking online presence. NOTE: This is an onsite, hybrid position offering the team member an on-site office in Holland, Michigan two to three days per week and remote work two to three days per week. Relocation would be a requirement for non-West Michigan candidates. Working with multiple teams across the organization, a successful candidate will consider themselves a strong collaborator as they network within JR Automation to research, gather and understand the goal/s of each unique digital marketing project. With that knowledge in hand, you will find opportunities to develop content that continues to position JR Automation as a leader in the industry. You will bring creativity and a problem-solver mindset to develop new ideas to all JR Automation marketing platforms. Additionally, you will gather and analyze digital marketing performance to gain insights and continue to advance the JR Automation brand awareness and affinity. What You'll Do: Write and design compelling content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms. Identify gaps to help build content that tells our brand story at all layers of the content funnel from awareness, to purchase, to retention for identified buyer personas. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing and business goals. Use Canva to design email banners, social media posts, etc. Assist in creating and executing social media campaigns to ensure that they are carried out effectively and meet defined strategic goals over the short-, medium-, and long-term. Create, schedule and manage content and engagement across all social media accounts. Develop monthly social media content calendars. Assist with CMS content updates. Analyze digital marketing trends to optimize strategies and campaigns. Identify areas of process improvement and design ways to create efficiencies in those processes. What You'll Bring: Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience. Three or more years of experience in a marketing, content dev or communications role in a B2B or agency organization. Experience with content management systems, marketing automation tools (Pardot, HubSpot, etc.), and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.). Analytical mindset to review email, social, and web analytics to drive improvements. Creativity and ideas to drive innovation Skills You'll Have: Very strong written and communication skills, including an aptitude for understanding technical concepts and synthesizing them into meaningful marketing materials. Strong proof reading and editing skills, attention to detail. Prior experience managing and developing content calendars. Basic understanding of working in a CMS (Wordpress, Sitefinity, etc.) Ability to tell stories that resonate with target audiences. Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design tools a plus. Knowledge of digital analytics tools, SEO and/or email marketing. Strong project management and multitasking skills. Willingness to travel to occasional event and/or tradeshow.
