Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,336 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Requirements At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab. Previous travel experience is not required. Must have experience with cath lab procedures, including diagnostic and balloon angioplasty caths. Prefer experience with cardioversions, loop recorders, EP cases. Schedule Information Shifts are from 0730 to 1600, Monday to Friday. On-call responsibilities are required approximately 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month. Rotating holiday call responsibilities. Call response time should be less than 30 minutes. Unit Specific Information of patients treated per day: 2-3. of suites/labs: 1. Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CAD, STEMI, CARDIAC. The Charge Nurse does not take an assignment. Staff does not include Rehab Aides: COTAs. Self-scheduling or Block scheduling is not allowed on weekdays; some input on on-call scheduling is possible. Additional Details Open book exam on skills learned will take place on Friday during orientation, which requires a 90% score to pass or the candidate will be terminated. No clinical involvement is noted in the position. EMR systems in use are Epic and Siemens. There is a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift. Dress Code: Hospital-provided surgical scrubs are to be worn. System classes are required for orientation, with length varying by experience.
