We are looking for an experienced Virtual Infrastructure (Citrix) Systems Engineer for providing engineering support to the virtual infrastructure environment and will have the opportunity to learn and modernize the infrastructure as technology advances. Your role will involve technical planning, systems integration, requirements verification & validation, risk assessment, and supportability for complete systems, while ensuring designs are compatible with the architecture and allocate requirements to each segment. You will work as part of a fast-paced, high-performing team to support the deployment and management of an entire enclave infrastructure consisting of physical and virtual servers, appliances, and workstations. The team consists of approximately 10 members and are looking for a Virtual Infrastructure Systems Engineer to support the Citrix environment. Responsibilities: Continuous monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing the Citrix Virtual environment Research, solution, and deliver on new technical requirements Provide troubleshooting and Engineering support at the Tier 3 &4 level for Windows operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for various Windows operating systems Apply sound security practices by addressing vulnerabilities and deploying the latest patches and updates Collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally Document system changes/updates Responsible for writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Troubleshoot issues that affect the user experience - utilizing event Logs, Log Analytics Queries, dashboards, etc. Create and deliver briefings to customer at various levels Create processes to automate task and configuration items that are sustainable and may be transitioned to O&M ABC Required Education, Experience, & Skills We are looking for Systems Engineer with a minimum of 11 years' relevant experience and a Bachelors' Degree. Candidate must have experience in the following Engineering experience with hybrid infrastructures (virtual and physical - servers, appliances, and workstations) Citrix virtual Apps and desktops engineering (XenApp and XenDesktop) Citrix hypervisor engineering (XenServer) Experience with configuring and maintaining SQL servers Using, modifying, and creating MS PowerShell scripts Strong understanding of Windows operating system administration tools (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.) Familiarity with encryption at rest fundamentals Prioritizing and executing tasks effectively, while under pressure Assuming and sharing engineering responsibilities Strong customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong documentation skills; Experience creating technical documentation Robust troubleshooting skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred: Evaluate and adapt the system, as needed, to align with industry standards and best practices Experience with configuring and maintaining cloud-based environments Strong understanding of unified managed architectures (e.g., Nutanix) Working knowledge of GitHub Working knowledge of PowerBI Process automation Agile Methodology Certifications (Current or lapsed): Citrix Certifications Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
