Data Services Developer - Part-Time

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Services Developer - Part-Time for a contract with our client in Saint Paul, MN. 100% Remote. Key Responsibilities: Create interface(s) between internal client crash system to external system(s) Understanding of Client Crash Business Requirements Understanding of and access to client Crash system Transform software and technical designs and specifications into secure, high functioning code in across multiple languages Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary Perform upgrades and enhancements to make software and systems are aligned, more secure and efficient Provide status updates and communicate as required to client leadership Provide maintenance and related production incident support for interface to client and other external systems Transfer knowledge to client staff for redundancy; this includes technical design documentation and project status Desired Qualifications and Experience Qualifications: FBI CJIS Security Clearance certification at CERT Level 4 (fingerprinting and background check through client as well as all required CJIS training) Required Basic Qualifications: Five (5) years' experience providing analysis and development/programming using (5 years for each): o JPA/Hibernate o Maven o XML o Junit or similar testing application o Oracle database and writing and testing SQL statements in Oracle o SOAP/REST Web services Four (4) years' experience working with state government public and traffic safety systems Four (4) years' experience providing incident and production support Four (4) years' experience in JAVA, .NET, or C# development Resource should be able to demonstrate understanding of core systems Experience with criminal justice data network (CJDN) applications System integration experience Broad experience base in architecture, design, business analysis, development, quality assurance, project management, and system support Strong communication skills; should be able to communicate effectively when issues arise Ability to work independently and in team settings Experience in mentoring other developers on Power Automate and PowerApps or new programming language or framework Experience working with and across different agencies.
