Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed occupational therapist. May work in collaboration with other health care professionals. May provide treatment to individuals or groups as necessary.
Identify and prioritize patient problems and notifies Occupational Therapist of areas of concerns with patient response.
Responsible for completing basic occupational therapy assistant competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies.
Meet productivity expectation for level of care.Provide detailed and concise documentation related to patient careTake ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.Communicate and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy AssistantLicensed or licensure eligible COTA in the State of New MexicoCPRPreferred Job Requirements:One (1) year related experience
