JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:3Shift: 4x12 Nights 18:45-07:15Call Requirement: NoneFloat Requirement: Traveler will float to a medsurg assignment if no SCU level patient on unit.Weekend Requirement: Off every third weekendPATIENT DIAGNOSES:COVIDRespiratory DistressPost Cardiac ArrestDKACardiac Dysrhythmia requiring IV dripsSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: ED physician, nursing supervisor, and Respiratory therapy in house 24/7. Critical patients requiring ventilator support typically transferred to larger facility.SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Telemetry monitoring. Capnography capabilities.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, CERNER, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24hrs - Two twelve hour shifts for orientation.
