Collaborates with multiple divisions to design Exterior components and systems which find the optimal balance of vehicle performance, safety, reliability, profitability and manufacturing requirements.Key Accountabilities
Create 3D layouts/data and 2D drawings using CATIA.Correlate and negotiate with internal Honda contacts including other design departs, test departs, factories and purchasing.Lead part design with suppliers. Managing schedule, setting design targets and confirming prospect to achieve requirements.Collaborate with styling teams to set feasible directions and fix final designs.Support part and vehicle verification, developing countermeasures when necessary.Estimate and manage part cost, including review of supplier quotes.Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering or equivalent0-6 years of experience based on educationCATIA or other 3D CAD software, self-motivated, organized, multitasker, effective verbal and written communication.Working Conditions
