$23.50/hour ($22.50 for first shift)Job Overview for an Assembly manufacturing Technician:
We are seeking a motivated Remanufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will safely perform disassembly, cleaning, requalification, rework, and assembly operations on Traction Motor Combo components using manual and automated equipment. You will ensure that all tasks adhere to quality standards and safety protocols while supporting lean manufacturing principles such as 5S or single-piece flow.Key Responsibilities for an assembly manufacturing Technician :Safely perform work in compliance with all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures.Support the remanufacturing of UX Traction Motor Combo components.Operate manual and automated equipment, hydraulic or pneumatic tools.Inspect work using precision measuring devices and testing protocols.Ensure compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards.Document and sign off on each completed work step.Handle special processes (e.g., welding or non-destructive testing) when required, with proper training or certification.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications for an assembly manufacturing Technician :High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies.Experience with manual equipment and hand tools.Ability to use inspection and measurement equipment.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality procedures.Training Requirements for an assembly manufacturing Technician :Safely progress through on-the-job training.Successfully complete quality audits on assigned product lines.Demonstrate competency in utilizing equipment and documenting inspection results.Maintain acceptable defect rates.Complete safety and special process training/certification where applicable.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
