Contract Duration: 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop)
Working Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week, with no overtime billed until after 48 hours
Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Float Requirement: Floating to sister unit (ICCU) as needed
Required Skills and Certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience
Experience with arterial lines, titrating vasoactive drips, and various other nursing skills
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
Skills: IV start, telemetry, conscious sedation
Patient Diagnoses
Work with patients experiencing respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, withdrawal, and more. Handle post-operative cases including GYN, GU, GI, thoracotomies, neuro, ortho surgeries, and pre/post OB with complications.
Special Procedures and Equipment
Administer drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, Precedex, and more
Utilize bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup
Manage A-lines, BIPAP's, chest tubes, and trach's
