Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Port Healthcare CenterPer DiemBase Pay: $22 or $25 dependent on availabilityDifferentials available for evening, night and weekend shifts
Essential Functions: Provide exceptional resident care including, but not limited to:- Identify special resident problems and changes in condition and report them immediately to supervisor- Grooms resident including shaving, hair and fingernail care- Accurately records percentage of resident food and fluid intake- Feeds resident according to care plan(s)- Monitors meal trays- Answers call lights timely- Delivers and removes resident meal trays- Pulls up side rails and rolls down bed- Changes incontinent residents-Takes residents to bathroom every 2 hours or as requested- Completes showers or bed baths- Turns and repositions all bed and chair residents every 2 hours including but not limited to pulling up in bed- Empties and records all urinary drainage units- Assists nurse with treatment procedures- Changes bed linens on occupied and unoccupied beds- Takes, records and reports weights of residents- Inspects resident skin condition with daily care and reports to the supervisor
Prerequisites:- Minimum 10th grade education. High School Diploma or GED preferred- Must be at least 16 years old- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Massachusetts and have an active licensea8VD9esi7H
