Epic Associate Project Manager - EPIC

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating small to midsize projects as part of the Epic program. Provide support to the Epic Project Management team in support of the IDN’s Epic implementation.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES*
Define and document: scope, budget, dependencies, and assumptions, through appropriate information gathering techniques for assigned projects.
Accomplish project goals through clear task prioritization, organized work activities, efficient time management, and mindful resource usage for assigned projects.
Leverage appropriate conflict management and problem resolution skills.
Manage competing demands for assigned project teams, adapting to changes in the HF environment, as necessary.
Effectively communicate project status and operational issues to Sponsors, Team Members, and Stakeholders using applicable communication paths.
Provide outstanding customer service to the Health First organization by displaying courtesy and sensitivity, managing difficult or emotional customer situations, meeting commitments, responding promptly to customer needs, and soliciting customer feedback to improve service.
Follow appropriate project documentation as defined Health First’s standard PMO Methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
Support Epic program leadership with schedule updates, meeting notes, reporting, and other program support tasks.
Coordinates Epic readiness and go live activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Healthcare or related field.
Work Experience in Lieu of Degree: Four years professional experience.
Work Experience: One year of professional experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: o Ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities. o Superior organization and meeting facilitation skills. o Strong ability to apply a wide variety of problem-solving approaches. o Strong analytical skills. o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience: Experience in a health care delivery environment.
/Familiar with Epic Systems technical processes to include Epic workstation build and TDR/
/Familiar with enduser devices required for Epic implementation (Kiosk, Rover, Rx printing, BCMA)/
/Familiar with minor construction processes as it pertains to the Epic “triangle of care”/
/Ability to interface with vendors and executive leadership/
/Understanding of Epic application requirements for end user devices/
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary – Office Workers
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Walking and standing or lifting more than 10 pounds are required only occasionally.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of computer time a day.
Adaptability of working remotely.
