Description
The Benefits EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Production Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate electronic files to insurance carriers for Paycom clients. They will also assist in the EDI process for existing file modifications, troubleshooting and open enrollment. Additionally, the specialist serves as support to the customer for questions during the long-term care of file feeds.
RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure accurate and timely files are sent to carriers following Paycom's guidelines and in accordance with the client and carriers' expectationsTroubleshoot internal and external inquiries, involving additional Paycom resources as needed to meet SLAs and resolve issuesCommunicate and collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to establish professional and effective working relationships and provide the highest level of customer serviceUse persuasion and influence to drive outcomes through a high volume of client communication, including inbound and outbound calls, emails and service ticketsResolve routine questions and problems using understanding of functional areaFollow established procedures to accomplish requirements of jobRefer more complex issues to higher levelsWork under direct supervisionApply knowledge obtained in trainingAssist with special projects and other duties as neededQualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience working with computer systems of any type, HR experience or related fields, or combination of experience and educationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technically savvy with the ability to navigate through computer systems easilyProfessional communication through phone, email and in personComputer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office and the ability to easily learn new applicationsStrong listening skills and ability to walk an internal team member through tasksAbility to work within a team to initiate solutions and to assist team members in meeting performance goalsAdapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environmentSelf-motivated to complete assigned tasks and projects on timeAbility to maintain organization of multiple tasks and projectsStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain professional communication during all interactionsContinuous learnerWillingness to work overtime and additional hours outside normal shift.
