The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.The nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgement in the planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.Responsible for maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and delegates patient care priorities based on staff experience levels.Offers direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
