Responsibilities
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a critical role in the success of IGT’s North America Gaming segment. The North America Gaming Controller is primarily responsible for ensuring that the segment and regions financial results are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS and U.S. GAAP) and its internal control structure is effectively designed and operating.
As the
North America Gaming Controller
, this individual will oversee various accounting groups in applying critical judgements and developing accounting positions for complex transactions for the Gaming business. In performing these responsibilities, the position is responsible for oversight of accounting judgements and activities performed by various accounting groups, including:
Accounting Operations - general ledger, fixed assets, intangibles, royalties, jackpot accounting, software capitalization, lease accounting
Accounts payable - vendor payments and accruals
Other Duties include:
Identifying financial statements risks and managing appropriate accounting treatment
Working with external and internal auditors supporting financial statement audits and control evaluations
Interacting with senior-level executives of the organization including; Finance, Sales, Legal, Compliance and Corporate Accounting
Reviewing regulatory compliance filings of accounting information
Review and analysis of internal management reporting
Leading corporate or local accounting project Initiatives aimed at process improvements, best practices and operational efficiency
Invoicing and budget tracking
Managing recruiting, development, retention, compensation and performance management for team of direct reports
Position reports to IGT’s Senior Director, Global Gaming and Digital Controller.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; Licensed CPA
15+ years of combined experience in public accounting and industry
10+ years management experience
Experience with analysis and interpretation of technical accounting guidance, compliance regulations and legal documents
Understanding of U.S. audit rules and regulations

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $106,250 - $250,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
