Work Shift:1st Shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:National Claim Services LLC is looking for exceptional people to take ownership in the handling of construction defect claims. Analyzes and processes claims by gathering information drawing conclusions, tracking and manage claims process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Evaluate claims to ensure accuracy of dates, review coverage, etc.2. Authenticate all relevant activity on assigned files and makes recommendation for additional activity as appropriate.3. Manage all claim documentation.4. Use discretion to submit the necessary information and/or correspondence to process claims appropriately.5. Analyze claim coverage with insurance carriers to ensure claims are paid accurately.6. Anticipate and meets all customer needs (both internal and external).

7. Maintain claims and suspense system ensuring follow-up for receipt of policies, endorsements, inspections reports, correspondence, claims, etc. from outside sources.

8. Process all departmental claims in a timely manner according to company policy.9. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experience2. Three years of Claims handling experience and commercial and multi-line knowledge3. Ability to critically review a claim file for relevant information, accurately access the information and make necessary recommendations4. Ability to make independent decisions following CRC guidelines with minimal or no supervision5. Good organizational, time management, and detail skills6. Extensive knowledge of insurance and CRC processes7. Ability to maintain a high level of tact and professionalism8. Good leadership skills to influence all departmental employees in a positive manner9. Possess strong interpersonal skills10. Strong verbal and written communication skills11. Strong computer and office skills12. Ability to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:1. Adjusting experience

2. Property & Casualty Adjuster License(s) or ability to secure same
