Position Summary
The Director of Finance will plan and direct the accounting operations of the agency and oversee revenue cycle operations.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000.
Actual pay will be determined based on several factors. These may include education, work experience and in some instances, certifications. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
Essential Functions
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.Partners with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Finance Manager to produce the annual budget and forecasts.Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, cash flow management, and contract negotiations.Works with external auditors and provides accurate, timely, information for all corporate audits.Responsible for all corporate reporting and tax filings to municipalities, state, and federal business entities.Develop annual financial operations plan and accompanying department goals in tandem with the CFO.Responsible for billing compliance, revenue cycle management and optimization.Responsible for payor contract management.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department and Billing Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, claims billing, revenue cycle management, patient services operations and payroll.Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.8+ years of related experience required.Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
